Royal Surrey County Hospital –
NEW EHR Deployment – PAS Clinic Build Managed Service
OVERVIEW
Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust and Ashford St Peters NHS Trust went live with Oracle Cerner (EHR) in May 2022. The was a big bang deployment where both NHS trusts were due to go-live with a new EHR system at the same time. e-Health IT were procured to deliver the PAS implementation for Royal Surrey from Trial Load 3 (September 2021) through to go- live.
Multiple issues with the PAS build where the fundamental configuration was not in place in some cases. As a result, the previous data migration trail load 2 was not workable. e-Health PAS build team were tasked to turnaround the PAS clinic build configuration in extremely tight time scales to achieve a much-improved percentage of In-slot future appointments migration for upcoming Trial Load 3. This deliverable required a dedicated team to provide 24/7 support to achieve this deadline.
